Arguments against animal testing?

Besides the ethics, you could argue about the efficacy of animal testing. Due to the different biological structures and biochemistry of different organisms, testing on animals doesn't really show whether treatments will work on humans, just that it works on something. Rarely does what works with test animals translate into better treatments for humans.
