Hello Ramadan Page. I am aware that the Qu'ran is the holy book of most Muslims but what are 'hadiths' and?
Hello my dear friend.(1) The Qur'an is the holy book given by Allah for whole humans and all muslims should adhere/obey it in their daily lives.Besides that we ,muslims should obey also the sahih hadith collected by Imam Bukhari And Imam Muslim as life guide to supplement the Qur'an. (2)Hadith is the collection of all sayings,actions/deeds and behaviour/akhlaq of Muhammad pbuh during his life who were narrated by his sahabahs and their descendants Allah says in the Qur'an that we must obey to Allah and also to the last rasool. Shia are quranists because they are misled muslims We could not adhere to the Qur'an only because the detail information such as how to make wudu, how to establish prayer, how to compute zakat, how to perform fasting, how to perform hajj pilgrim etc we can find it in the hadith, because the Qur'an contains its principles only.
