My dog licks her paws more after eating chicken-possible allergy?

I fed my pom/chi cross By Nature Organics (there's a chicken and a turkey variety I fed with equal rotation) since she was 9 weeks old. She's now 7 months and I just realized something- when she was totally off chicken when they only had turkey at the store I don't think she was licking her paws as much. But when I ran out of BN I just bought an organic chicken and some organic broccoli and cooked it for her to bridge the gap until her new food Paw Naturaw got here (I had to order it) The paw licking returned within 1 hour of her chicken dinner. It wouldn't be a huge issue, as she'll be eating bison from now on with the PN, but I was just curious. She has no other signs. her coat looks fabulous, tons of energy, and she's never had a loose stool ever. The only time she even threw up was when she got way too much asparagus by mistake (I also buy extra meat and veggies and give her small amounts for variety, and everyone in the house fed her a bit not knowing that everyone else did too) It has to be the chicken if she's allergic to something-she has never eaten a grain or anything with soy or non-organic anything since I brought her home, and she gets no table scraps whatsoever. Thoughts?
