Christians, could a "slippery slope" strategy convert more atheists?

Perhaps geocentric young earth creationism is a bit too much for these lost souls to swallow. Should we start by moving them toward something closer to their position like pantheism? From there, who knows what kinds of exciting dogmas we could turn them onto?
