How to make A Punnet Square with -linked traits?

Use xs. Use Xr Xr for the genotype of the female because white is recessive and little rs represent recessive traits. XR Y is the genotype of the father because a male must have a large R for dominance and a y because he is male. Then crosse the two in a four square punnet square. You should end up with XRXr, XRXr, Xr Y, and Xr Y if I did that all right. The genotype is the letters combinations and the phenotypes are white eyed and red eyed. You have to use Xs because they are linked traits. I was confused by all this at the beginning of the year too but good luck!
