Ok ignore all that about carpal tunnel syndrome, its definately not that because I have carpal tunnel and carpal tunnel has nothing to do with your vision or flu symptoms or headaches. numbness can be caused by many things from peripheral neuropathy, hiv, cancer, nerve damage, lack of nutrients in your blood, basically anything....so nobody can really say what is causing the numbness just by looking it up on the internet, that is a very serious symptom and you need to go to the emergency room. When you go to the emergency room, one of the first things they ask you is if you are feeling any numbness in your hands or feet....if you say yes..you are looked at before many other patients by the doctor because this can be something very serious. Ive been to the emergency room 3 times this year for numbness with other symptoms that I thought was from a tumor. My numbness was caused by stress/anxiety but I do have numbness in my fingers caused by carpal but yours does not sound like that at all.
