Pap Smear came back good, but do they check for std's like Clamidya?

I went in for a pap smear and told the Dr. I had a white discharge, no pain, no smell. She did a swab test and said my white blood cell count was high, and that I had a bacterial infection, she said it could be hormonal, or many other things, but she did say it wasn't a ual disease, and put me on medicine that you put in a tube and insert into your for 5 days. I am now wandering how she is sure it's not something like Clamydia? Can my Dr. tell right away from a swab test (like with in 5 min.) that it's not a std like clamydia? and if not, why would she Volunteer the information and say it's not a ually transmitted disease, it's just a high white blood count, bacterial infection? If she CAN tell from a simple swab test under a microscope the same day, that it ISN'T a std like Chlamydia that that's Great! I just want to make sure I am not being misdiagnosed? Thanks for your help
